A Personal Piece of Jewellery

August 2021 | Belinda Lubkoll

Our jewellery design studio is working closely together with Kara Northcott, the agent for Heart in Diamond in New Zealand. After completing this beautiful blue diamond ring for her client recently, we thought we share the experience in this blog post with you.

Thanks to science, we can now grown synthetic diamonds from fibre. It can be anything that is dear to you, the favourite blanket your dog has been sleeping on, a piece of horse cover or clothing from a loved one. Ashes can also be used.
The whole process is explained in this video: Click here

A personal diamond to celebrate the future and your family. A joint family haircut or your wedding bouquet will work just as well for Hearts in Diamonds and feedback from Kara was that hair is mostly used.

One or multiple diamonds can be ordered from the same sample and you can choose from a colour chart ranging from white, yellow, red, blue and blue green. Contact us and we can talk you through choosing the right setting and diamond size for your design.

When it comes to choosing the right ring design and setting you should think about the following:
What is your liefstyle and profession? Do you love the outdoors? Would you like to wear your ring in combination with another one on the same finger?
What is your budget?
Together with the answers to these questions and some design ideas you can send us an email and we will provide you with a free quote and a meeting with Kara.

Setting this beautiful memorial blue diamond into a white gold 4 claw set design was a special moment for our jeweller. This diamond is just as strong, if not stronger without the inclusion that occur in some natural diamonds.
