One of the great design stories was a paper nautilus ring we have created in sterling silver for our client. The yearly ritual of a our client's family was to collect these shells along the beach, to see who could find the most perfect one of these brittle shells. 

Taking pictures, measurements to create an outline of our object first we had to make sure the dimensions where correct before sculpting in wax. 

Getting every line right and the transition of the shell into the ring band correct before casting the design in sterling silver.
